Pira ist eine zeitgemässe Interpretation des Klassikers von Olle Pira aus dem Jahr 1954. Die schwedische Architektin Anna Winn Schewen und der Industriedesigner Björn Dahlström haben sich dem Klassiker angenommen und das Regal auf die heutigen Standards in Hinsicht auf Technologien, Materialien und Arbeitsbereiche angepasst.
Pira is a contemporary interpretation of the classic by Olle Pira from 1954. The Swedish architect Anna Winn Schewen and the industrial designer Björn Dahlström have taken on the classic and adapted the shelf to today’s standards in terms of technologies, materials and workspaces.
Das Pira Regal ist elegant zart und doch richtig robust, genauso wie das Leben. Das raffinierte Regal von String ist modular und wirkt doch fugenlos. Das metallische Kunstwerk ist ein modernes Herzstück im Raum egal was darauf steht. Das Pira G2 Regal kann wahlweise als Raumteiler vom Boden bis zur Decke oder an der Wand montiert werden. Obwohl modular, vermittelt es dennoch den Eindruck, als wäre es als ein Stück gebaut worden.
Pira G2 wird ausschliesslich aus hochwertigen Materialien produziert. Das Regal besteht aus lackiertem Stahl und Aluminium, was den soliden Look herausstellt. Das Gestell ist alternativ in weiss oder schwarz grau erhältlich. Das Schrankelement, die Organizer und Buchstützen aus Holz in Nussbaum oder weisser Eiche bringen Wärme und Weichheit und schaffen somit einen Kontrast zum Gesamtkonstrukt. Jede Ablage trägt bis zu 50 kg und jede Sektion bis zu 350 kg. Pira G2 besteht aus diversen kleinen Teilen, keines davon länger als ein Meter, was den Transport enorm erleichtert.

The Pira shelf is elegantly delicate and yet really robust, just like life. The sophisticated shelf from String is modular and yet appears seamless. The metallic work of art is a modern centerpiece in the room no matter what is written on it. The Pira G2 shelf can either be mounted as a room divider from floor to ceiling or on the wall. Although modular, it still gives the impression that it was built as one piece.
Pira G2 is produced exclusively from high-quality materials. The shelf is made of painted steel and aluminum, which brings out the solid look. The frame is alternatively available in white or black grey. The cupboard element, the organizer and bookends made of wood in walnut or white oak bring warmth and softness and thus create a contrast to the overall construction. Each shelf supports up to 50 kg and each section up to 350 kg. Pira G2 consists of various small parts, none of them longer than one meter, which makes transport enormously easier.
